Felting Needles

Use these needles for any of your felting projects! Great to use in your wooden single needle holder.

Bulk package of 36 Standard contains six needles.
All other sizes sold as one individual needle.

Felting needles are barbed needles used to interlock wool fibers. As the felting needle is moved up and down, the barbs on the needles catch the scales of the wool and entangle them creating a material called felt. The 36 gauge is used for faster coarse felting that leaves a larger hole in the felted surface. This needle creates firm fabric and deep punctures. The 38 gauge triangle and star needles are a general purpose needle used for general felting that leaves a smaller hole than the 36 and is good for attaching felt to felt or felt to wool. The 40 gauge is excellent for fine detailing and sculpting. The 42 gauge is what you need for finishing and smoothing detail work.
