Greetings Friends!
You probably aren’t accustomed to receiving a newsletter from me in August. Usually I’m away on vacation at the start of the month. This year circumstances are different of course, so I decided to drop you a line!
It’s been a busy month. I presented a three-part series this past weekend that gave a little peak into my medieval hobby. Those videos can be watched on Facebook. I also shared many of the products that I carry in the shop, so it’s a good update on what is available.
I’ve been dyeing regularly – batts, locks, roving, and combed top are all on the shelves at the shop. New braids of Targhee blend are listed online.

I'm very excited to be a part of the Northeast Ohio Yarn Discovery Tour this year! Dates are September 8 through 27. I am participating in a VIRTUAL capacity, meaning purchases can be made online and shipped or you can choose curbside pick up. You will still get your pattern, passport sticker, and entry into my giveaway. Instead of pins & bags, this year each shop is giving out stitch markers.

Here's a preview of the two patterns available during the Tour!
The knit pattern, Enid Mitts, is designed by Anna Grimm. This pattern uses Enid, my handdyed DK weight yarn. I'll also be introducing a new DK weight base, Eleri, which is 85% Polwarth wool and 15% tussah silk. |

| The crochet pattern, My Lucky Daydream, is a shawl designed by Tricia Hodson. This uses a single skein of Olwyn, my handdyed 100% Merino fingering weight yarn. |
