Knitting: Fingerless Mitts
Take on some new skills with these nifty ribbed mitts from Tin Can Knits. What we will cover: working with double pointed needles (in the round); increasing for the thumb gusset; working from a pattern; picking up and knitting stitches.
Each student will make one pair of fingerless mitts. This class is spread over three weekends. Please commit yourself to attending all three sessions before signing up. No late adds. Any student who requires additional help beyond that can schedule private lessons at $10/hour.
We will be working with worsted weight yarn (included). Students will need a set of US6 double pointed needles. You have the option to bring your own or purchase at the shop.
